One of the biggest factors that may prove God’s existence, are the many miraculous, spiritual and near-death experiences that many people report as having. I know from my own personal experience, of what God has done and continues to do in my life, and many other people have reported innumerable experiences of that which cannot be scientifically explained. Welcome to the world of miracles, spiritual and near-death experiences!
Many people do not want to talk about these experiences, and many don’t, for fear of what people might think of them, however, I think it is important enough for people to talk about them, so that others might be encouraged and comforted by these experiences, so that we may all know the truth about life after death.
One common factor that I have noticed between many of these spiritual and near-death experiences, is that they often come at a time of great personal distress or upheaval in one’s life. Though that may not always be the case, it appears more often than not that God tends to show up in someone’s life when things are going, or have gone, drastically wrong! Sometimes these events happen to get us to a better place in our lives, other times they just take us away from where we are supposed to be and what we are supposed to be doing! I know that that was the case for me.
When a key event that was supposed to happen in my life failed to materialise, it led to me having the greatest spiritual experience of my life - a direct conversation with God! Not before, and not since that time, have I ever had another direct conversation with God where my line of questioning was immediately answered! So, it would appear to me that God tends to make Himself more known when things are going, or have gone, wrong. And that appears to be the case with many other people, likewise.
Take for example a near-death experience. If you’re at death’s door, then likely something has gone very wrong indeed, unless you are of old-age. Some people have even died on the operating table, had a spiritual experience, and been brought back to life, only to have their lives ever-changed by the experience. People have written innumerable books on the subject, and many seem to share a similar experience - that of a white light, and a feeling of great love and warmth emanating from it. One person on this very site submitted a testimony to that effect - a near-death experience (click here to read), followed by a white light and a feeling of love and warmth. So how can all these people be wrong? What is it that we are missing? Why do so many people not see the truth that is staring them in the face on a daily basis? Is it because they don’t want to know, for fear of having to change their lives? Or is it ignorance, not knowing what they don’t know? Whatever it is, the proof and the evidence is out there if we are willing to look for it. But it seems, many people don’t want to look, for whatever reason.
But whatever the case, we are all going to die (most of us), and so it makes sense to have a natural curiosity about what happens to us after we die. What do we have to lose? We are going to die anyway, so why not try and find out?
Jesus came to pay the price for all of mankind’s sins, and it is His eternal sacrifice that enables us to take up eternal life. The bar has been set low. All we have to do is believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and we will be saved. Is that what you want for yourself and your family? Then that’s all you need to do! Accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour, and you will be saved!
It is an incredible free gift available to all mankind, anywhere, of any race, at any time! All you have to do is accept the free gift and you will be saved! It’s as simple as that!
Why would you not want to accept the free gift and have eternal life living in peace and harmony? It is a free gift available to anyone if you are willing to accept it. It doesn’t make sense to me to reject it! If you do reject it, Jesus will reject you when you die. I don’t think any of us really want that.
So, it is really up to you. Choose life now, and have a better life both now and when you die, or keep living for yourself, and lose your life when you die. It’s a fairly simple choice. But it is each of ours to make. What do you choose? Life, or death?
God Bless.
