In April 2012 while I was sitting on the couch, I suddenly received a very strong message to read Revelation chapter 22. It was the strongest and clearest message I have ever received from God to do something! There was no mistaking it.
At that point, I didn't even know if there was a chapter 22 in the book of Revelation, so I was a bit unsure as to whether I would actually find that chapter in the book! In any case, I went and picked up my Bible, and to my surprise and delight, I found that there was indeed a chapter 22 in the book of Revelation - the final chapter! I started reading it until all of a sudden, two verses jumped out at me and really made a big impact on me. They were:
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward (is) with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." - Revelation 22:11-12
You see, over two years earlier I was trying to sell my website business GoForex.net to a Nasdaq-listed company in the United States called Internet Brands, however, they gave me what I considered to be a very unfair and unjust offer. In fact, it was the lowest I had received, from a company that had more resources than any of the other companies that approached me to buy my website. Ultimately I rejected their offer, even though I knew that these were the people I was supposed to sell my website to when they first approached me!
What God was trying to tell me was that God will repay each of us for our work, whether it be good or bad, and to let go of any frustration or resentment that I had towards someone (or something) else.
"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." - Romans 12:19
