Jan 7, 2014:An interesting series of "coincidences" relating to the last several months coincided with today's date which leads me to believe that God is ordering my steps. Today is one year to the day since I started creating this timeline, and is also the Orthodox Christmas.
It is also exactly two months to the day since I left Alexandra and went North to find a new home. Having spent the last two months living in hotels going from place to place touring the North Island and down to Nelson and back, I decided to return to Alexandra, arriving back on the 7th of January, exactly two months to the day since I left. What was interesting about that was the fact that it corresponded exactly to the amount of time that it took from the day that I received three enquiries to buy my website on the 3rd of October, until the day that I completed the sale and transfer exactly two months later on the 3rd of December.
What I had originally intended as a trip to find a new home turned into a two month holiday, including a 10 day trip to Israel in the middle, arriving back in New Zealand on the 31st of December, 2013.
The fact that I could even book a ferry ticket across Cook Strait with my car was a minor miracle in itself, given that one boat is out of action and it is the busiest time of year. The competitor's ferry was booked solid through to the 19th of January, and I booked the very last crossing with space available until the 12th of January one week later.
I had already booked my hotel through to the 5th of January, so this is the last day that I was able to cross Cook Strait on the ferry until a week later. I arrived back in Alexandra exactly 7 days after getting back from Israel, which I didn't want to leave in the first place, as I now feel that Israel is my home.
So what all this tells me is that I am on the right path and in the right place for now, and that the Lord is guiding my steps and my path.
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." - Psalm 37:23
Note: I purposely decided not to use the scripture above because I did not want to proclaim myself as "good", so I used a different one instead because as Jesus said, "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." - John 5:31. However, after two days of using a different scripture I was moved to use this scripture instead, and therefore, I am not proclaiming myself to be "good", but rather felt purposed by the Spirit to use the scripture above.
